CARLOS PROTEUS IS A SOLID NAME IN THE MUSIC PRODUCTION INDUSTRY WITH 15+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN FILM SCORING, SOUND DESIGN AND MUSIC PRODUCTION
Born to a family with established musical tradition shaped his musical sensibility since very early age. Continuous quest for music expressed through piano and guitar classes got him to create his first pieces of music in early childhood. Strong perception of rhythm and tempo took him to pursue further studies in Conducting and Classical Vocal departments of Conservatory.
Captivated by cinematography music, Carlos set foot in film scoring as an original music composer by collaborating with renowned independent filmmakers and producers. His inborn knack of original music creation gets revealed through such movies as Caucho (2013), Khio (2013), to name a few.
Carlos has considerable experience in TV production as an audio pre & post production producer (publicity, sitcoms, shows, jingles, entertainment) taking full responsibility of music in leading TV companies.
Carlos was entrusted the audio production of Komitas Multimedia DVD, which was nominated for awards in France under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture.
Carlos is an audio pre & post production professional covering a wide range of areas of expertise (TV, Radio, Cinematography, video games, publicity), as well as genres (electronic, house, indie rock to hip-hop, etc).
He is also the founder of Proteus audio post-production studio and a freelance music producer based in Barcelona, Spain.
